As some of you may know, I am currently engaged. So, as a wedding photographer, I probably know more than the average bride-to-be. But honestly, I don’t know EVERYTHING about planning a wedding. I still had lots of questions and wasn’t quite sure what my immediate priorities should be. Read MoreThere’s something really special about small town weddings. Everyone knows everyone and it just makes it that much more intimate. Natalie and Jason’s wedding day took place on a gorgeous spring day and was full of so many laughs and smiles. These two met when they were in high school in Huntingburg, Indiana (population just over 6,000, in case you were wondering). Jason proposed to Natalie in the Smoky Mountains and the rest is history.
On their big day, the dogwood trees were blooming and spring was finally showing its face with sun and 70 degrees. The Bride, her mother, and her bridesmaids got dressed together at the couple’s new home. Before heading to the church where the ceremony would be held, Natalie read letters written to her from both her father and Jason. Jason’s letter had her laughing and smiling, while the letter from her dad brought tears to her eyes.

Annie and Marcus met at what she called his “gross fraternity basement” showing off his sweet dance moves. Not sure about you, but that made me laugh out loud! I’m sure most fraternity house basement relationships don’t end up this way, but these two clearly made the cut. Marcus proposed to Annie while on a walk in Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia and hired a photographer to capture the moment!
