Annie + Marcus | Indianapolis Wedding

First off, before we dive into their stunning wedding, I have to talk about how this couple came to be. Annie and Marcus met at what she called his “gross fraternity basement” showing off his sweet dance moves. Not sure about you, but that made me laugh out loud! I’m sure most fraternity house basement relationships don’t end up this way, but these two clearly made the cut. Marcus proposed to Annie while on a walk in Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia and hired a photographer to capture the moment!

The big day took place in Industry in Indianapolis, a cool venue with exposed brick and industrial vibes in downtown Indy. After the Bride was dressed and ready to go (with some help from her mother), she unveiled with a first look for her bridesmaids. If for some reason you aren’t elated enough on your wedding day, having a first look with your girls will make you feel like a rockstar. Their expressions were priceless!

Next, came the first look with the Groom. He was amazed by her! His reaction seriously made me tear up. This was such a sweet and fun moment to photograph. These two were willing to run, jump, dance, and anything else I asked them to, which made the photos and the experience even better!

The ceremony was short and sweet. Marcus choked up seeing Annie walk down the aisle. To remember this moment they put love letters and a bottle of wine in a box to open down the road. Don’t you just love that?

At the reception, the couple shared their first dance to “Beautiful Crazy” by Luke Combs. Following the first dance, Annie did a dance with her mom to Bob Carlisle’s “Butterfly Kisses” in memory of her father. Halfway through the song, they invited all of their family to share the moment with them, and a beautiful moment it was. After that, the groom showed off his moves with a choreographed song and dance medley with his mother. Guess the fraternity basement dancing was good practice!

This emotional, hilarious, beautiful day ended with everyone standing in a circle around Annie and Marcus and singing John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” at the top of their lungs. When it was all over, they sent the couple off with a sparkler exit. Talk about the perfect end to the perfect day.
