Chloe + Austin | Love Always Wins

Seriously, where do I even begin? I don’t want to let the circumstances overshadow what an absolutely beautiful day this was but feel like it would be kind of weird not to mention it. Due to the pandemic, Chloe & Austin ended up having a much more intimate wedding day than they had initially planned. I know the celebration part of a wedding is exciting but when you strip it down, it’s really just about two people in love starting their lives together & that can’t be taken away. Everyone was so full of emotion & it’s very clear how loved they are.

Chloe & Austin began their mornings getting ready at their family homes. They exchanged letters with each other, as well as their parents & Chloe with her sister, Adi. I loved the thoughtfulness behind this gesture & it really speaks volumes about the kind of people that they are. It allowed everyone time to really reflect on their relationships & the love that they share.

Chloe’s amazing bridesmaids also surprised her after she put on her dress. They couldn’t officially join her during the ceremony but were still able to show their love & support on such a special day. They also gifted Chloe a piece of wall art with her & Austin’s first dance song written out. I still tear up thinking about this, what a wonderful surprise!

Before the ceremony, there was a first look & they exchanged gifts. There were so many hugs & laughs as Chloe & Austin saw each other for the first time that day. Only their immediate family was able to attend the ceremony but there was more than enough love between them to fill up the entire church. We wrapped up family photos by taking one with everyone in it with a sign that reads “love wins”, which was the perfect motto for this day!

After the ceremony, another surprise came for the newlyweds. Their friends & family were waiting outside in their cars, cheering as Chloe & Austin exited the church, complete with a case of Corona, of course. ;) What a breathtakingly emotional moment & such a thoughtful way for their loved ones to support them on this day!

We finished up with portraits & then came another wonderful surprise (for Austin)! Chloe had their friend, Collin, come to where we were taking photos to sing so that they could have their first dance. Funny enough, I didn’t even know that this was going to happen & right before, I began playing their first dance song on my phone just for fun & then Colin pops up asking if we want to hear the real thing. Austin’s reaction was priceless & they got to have the sweetest first dance. What a perfect way to wrap everything up!

Back when I initially started working with these two, I asked them a few questions about their relationship & I would love to share their answers with you. When asked what each loves most about the other, Chloe said, “Austin would do just about anything for me. He is sincere, hardworking, and always keeps me laughing. I can completely be myself around him and he just gets me. There is nobody else I would rather spend the rest of my life with!” When asked the same question, Austin responded, “I love that Chloe is a genuinely kind and compassionate person. She puts others first and pushes me to be a better person. She is patient and forgiving. She is smart and hardworking. She is incredibly beautiful inside and out!” When asked what they want to remember most about this season of their lives 20 years from now, they said, “We hope to remember to continue living with the same loving spirit that we share now. We want to remember why we fell in love and rely on that in both the good and bad times.”

This was definitely an unforgettable day. One that we will all look back on for years to come as a reminder that love always wins. Congratulations Chloe & Austin!
