Yuliya + Stan | Evansville, IN Wedding

Yuliya and Stan’s wedding was my first traditional Russian ceremony and was beautifully unique and special. The Bride’s smile really says it all. How can you not crack a smile looking at these two? The Bride and Groom met at a church youth group camp. Stan proposed after a day spent at one of Yuliya’s favorite places in downtown Newburgh.

Their wedding day began with the Bride and her bridesmaids, including her two younger sisters Viktoriya and Angel, getting ready at their parent’s home in Evansville. They were all gushing over how gorgeous Yuliya was. I mean, just look at the photos! As soon as everyone was ready, Yuliya and Stan saw each other and together, said a prayer with their families. This was so different than so many other wedding preparations I’ve witnessed and I loved how intimate and special it was!

Following the prayer, we left to take some pre-ceremony photos. Next came the ceremony which was held at Grace of Christ Church. The service was emotional and heartfelt and perfectly fitting for these two. The following reception was held at Kokies and post-ceremony photos were taken in Downtown Evansville.

This wedding was so different, but still such a perfect match for each other! Yuliya is giggly and sweet, while Stan is more reserved. Despite this, they were making each other laugh the whole time and I loved their dynamic together. When I asked them what they wanted to remember about this season of their lives 20 years from now, they said “how goofy we were”. Perfect, right?

I wanted to mention one more little thing to make you gush a little… When each was asked what they loved most about their future spouse, Stan mentioned Yuliya’s kind heart. Yuliya responded with just how loved Stan makes her feel and how he completes all of her flaws.
