Some sessions just turn me into a sentimental sap who wants to yell "LOOK HOW CUTE YOU TWO ARE!" every time I take a photo. This was definitely one of those sessions.

MecKenzie & Tyler chose New Harmony for their engagement session because it holds such a special place in their hearts. MecKenzie grew up close by & has had many family members get married in this beautiful little town. As we walked around, she told me so much about it's history & I felt like I was getting my own private tour. 

Tyler proposed to MecKenzie on the Murray State campus under it's famous "shoe tree". It is tradition for couples who meet on campus to hang their shoes on the tree. Doing so is said to provide a lifetime of good luck & some couples even return to put a baby shoe on the tree when they've started their family. If that isn't the sweetest college tradition, I don't know what is!

So much love is clearly shared between these two I just cannot wait to see them officially tie the knot in November!
