I Couldn't Run my Business Without These Things
Here’s another post for my fellow creative entrepreneurs! Assuming you know that my camera gear, website & editing software are all necessary parts of my business, let’s talk about a few things you may not have guessed!
Honeybook - Client Management
I honestly don’t even know where to start with this one. I began using Honeybook the minute I went full-time with my business & haven’t looked back! It keeps me organized, sends me reminders, handles bookkeeping, contracts & invoices. It’s literally my personal assistant. This project tracker is one of my favorite features & lets me know where everyone is at all the way from their inquiry until their gallery is delivered.
Best of all, Honeybook is super affordable. If you’d like to give it a try, you can get 50% off through this link: http://share.honeybook.com/eB4jv.
Pixieset - Online Gallery Delivery
Back in the day I use to deliver my photos through email (yikes). In my defense, I was also young, dumb & basically working for free. There were so many things wrong with this, I really can’t list them all.
Pixieset displays your photos in an organized & beautiful online gallery that your clients will love & allows them to download them at full resolution. It also has a print store where your clients can easily order all different types of products right from their gallery without you having to lift a finger.
Blogstomp - Photo Resizing for Your Website & Blog
This one is a recent discovery for me & I honestly don’t know how I survived before. I use to spend hours choosing, resizing & uploading images for my blog. Blogstomp literally cut that time in half (maybe less).
First of all, it downloads my images super fast. Once that’s done, I’m able to organize them in the exact way that I want them to look on my blog. Then I can export them at the optimum size for clarity & speed to my website & batch name them whatever is best for my SEO.
I’ll be honest with you guys, I love blogging but almost gave it up because it can be SO time consuming. Then I found Blogstomp & now I can share all of the photos I want without worrying about it taking up my whole day or slowing down my website.
That’s it for today! If you’d like to chat more about how you can run your business more efficiently, feel free to check out my mentorship options HERE.
