It’s so funny how you never go into something expecting it to be life changing. It just kind of happens & BAM nothing is the same. That’s what this week in Hawaii did for me.

From the relationships I formed to the photos I took, every single part this trip was amazing. But the biggest takeaway I got about my business (and just life in general) is that THIS ISN’T ABOUT ME. If that doesn’t totally make sense to you, let me explain…

Yes, I built this photography business in hopes that it would be successful & I would get to do something that I love as my full time job. That’s the dream, right? But now I literally laugh at that because my dreams are soooo much bigger now. I think our idea of success has become somewhat warped (special thanks to social media for that one). So this year I am focusing 1000% of my energy on creating the most amazing experience for my couples & serving, serving, serving. If everything else falls into place, that’s great, but if not, that’s totally ok too because my mind is in a completely different place.

I hope that made sense because I tend to go off on a tangent when I’m passionate about something. Y’all should know this by now. ;)

Anywayysss, this trip was amazing to say the least & I highly recommend The Heart Workshop. HUGE thanks to Lindsey & Evie for being the most beautiful, brightest lights in this world & changing this industry for the better in so many ways.
