I’ve known the Bride, Chelsea, since our high school days and I’m so happy that she and Alex (who is literally her perfect match, by the way) chose me to photograph their wedding day! These two are so hilarious and free-spirited and their wedding fit their personalities perfectly.

Before the ceremony began, the couple did a first look. First looks always make me feel some type of way, but I was dying at how cute these two were! Alex kept telling Chelsea how amazing she looked and was just so excited to see her (understandable because she looked incredible)!

The ceremony itself was held at the Santa Claus Outdoor Tabernacle in Santa Claus, Indiana (yep, Santa Claus is a real place in case you didn’t know). The wedding itself was so personal and thoughtful. Alex and Chelsea wrote their own vows and their ceremony was officiated by their close friend, Justin. I also have to give a shout out to the florist, Keith Bauer, owner of Huntingburg Greenhouse. The flowers we’re so beautiful and tied everything together perfectly (check out Chelsea’s bouquet). The reception was held at Huntingburg Events Center in Huntingburg, Indiana.

I have to mention a few other things you’ll notice in Chelsea and Alex’s photos. The sweet little dog featured in a few shots is Cowboy. I am completely in love with this little guy. He’s super laid back and it was so fun including him in these photos (he made an appearance in their engagement photos too)! Another shot you’ll see is the Bride and Groom with the wedding party on a bridge. They wanted to surprise everyone because it was where they all used to hang out when they were younger. This was super nostalgic and everyone was so happy to be back there together!

Chelsea and Alex had the most unique wedding day that was perfect for them. It was obvious that everything from the locations where their photos were taken, to the flowers, to the ceremony itself was perfectly thought out by these two. To top it all off, they decided to take their honeymoon to Vancouver Island. I love when couples think outside the box!
