I have to start this out by saying how gorgeous Cassi and Blake’s outdoor wedding was. The weather was literally perfect, sunny and in the 70’s. You really can’t ask for better weather, especially in August in Southern Indiana! 

The day began with lots of laughs and mimosas as Cassi and her bridesmaids got ready at The Loft on Main in New Harmony, Indiana. Cassi looked absolutely stunning in her gown. Her bridesmaids were in complete awe when they saw her for the first time and I couldn’t wait to see Blake’s reaction!

After everyone was ready, the couple did a first look. They were both SO ready to see each other! At that moment, I knew that it was going to be a blissful day. Both Cassi and Blake exuded so much joy! Something special to add to the pre-ceremony photos was that Cassi decided to do a first look with her dad as well. She wanted to have a moment with him before they walked down the aisle. It was so special and emotional for both of them.

Their outdoor ceremony was held at The Roofless Church in New Harmony. Quite a few tears were shed during the wedding. Both families and friends were so happy for them. You’ll notice a photo of Blake's sister crying walking down the aisle, as well as his daughter, Addi. I just have to add that I love that his daughter was one of Cassi's bridesmaids. They have such sweet relationship. 

During the reception (held at Ribeyre Center), every toast and speech was emotional. Cassi's dad actually did his via recording because he wasn't sure if he'd be able to do it live without getting emotional. It’s pretty obvious that Cassi and her dad are super close, which makes this that much sweeter. Everyone was so happy to welcome Blake and his daughter, Addi, into their family. Something fun that they included in the reception was an  Anniversary Dance where all of the married couples in attendance dance together. They are called off the dance floor by number of years they’ve been together. The last couple standing ended up being Blake’s grandparents, which was so cute! Make sure you check out the photo of everyone dancing together! The night ended with sunset photos, laughs, and lots of dancing!

When Cassi and Blake were asked what they loved most about the other, Cassi said that she loves the way Blake loves her and how hilarious he is. Blake said that he loves the way Cassi looks at him (I mean just look at those first look photos)! When asked what they want to remember most about this season of life 20 years from now, they said, “How much love we have for each other and how much fun we have together.”
